How to Use Gray Screen

1. The gray background appears right away.
2. Click the fullscreen button (top-right) to go fullscreen.
3. Browse shades in the palette on the left.
4. To download, select a resolution and click "Download Image."

Why Use Gray Screen?

• A neutral gray is the standard reference for adjusting brightness, contrast, and color balance on a display.
• Photographers use medium gray (18% gray) as a reference point for exposure metering and white balance. Fill your screen with it and you have an instant gray card.
• Gray is easier on the eyes than white for long sessions, while still bright enough to read against. It splits the difference between white and black.
